  • Mutual Funds
  • Annuities – life & term-certain

As an independent Certified Financial Planning firm, we have no bias or incentive to promote certain investment funds or products over another. We work for our clients, not a bank or large financial institution.

Our Process

  1. During the initial consultation, we will gather as much information as possible, all completely confidential. This includes the Investor Profile Questionnaire, current investment holdings, and available contribution room with registered accounts. We also find out the soft facts, such as goals, objectives, and long-term plans. All of this information helps us provide accurate investment recommendations.
  2. Next, we put forth our investment recommendations. This will encompass the types of investment account to use (for example – RRSP or TFSA) and which investment products and funds that suit the client best.
  3. If the recommendations make sense, we then formalize the working relationship and get the ball rolling. We will oversee the transfer of existing investments from one institution to another and assist with all the necessary paperwork to get new accounts opened.
  4. Lastly, our investing services include all ongoing reviews and maintenance. We are always a phone call or email away from answering any questions you might have, not just for the investment account, but with any other financial matters (tax, estate, retirement, insurance, etc.).

Our Fees

We are compensated for our investment services in one of two ways:

  1. A sales commission from the investment company for which we invest our client’s money; or
  2. A fee-for-service arrangement, negotiated based upon the level of involvement the client would like from us and other relevant factors.

These arrangements are discussed with full transparency prior to formalizing the working relationship.
